SVU Captures – Season 10 Episode 3

15 October 2008 5,050 views 3 Comments

“Maybe God remembered how cute you were as a carrot”

The latest SVU didn’t have many Olivia scenes, but as a parent myself I really felt for Elliot and wouldn’t wish what he had to go through on anyone!

In this episode called ‘Swing’, Detective Elliot Stabler’s job and personal life become intertwined when he discovers his daughter, Kathleen Stabler is the suspect… It also stars Ellen Burstyn.

SWING was an awesome episode. Everything about it broke my heart. We got all of Elliots ghosts in one episode. It just goes to show why Elliot is Elliot. I loved the Crib scene where Olivia is telling him it’s not good to keep things bottled inside, that punching things doesn’t solve the problems. I’m a parent too, and couldn’t even imagaine having to go through what he was going through. I couldn’t help but notice a distance between Elliot and Kathy in this episode. I would have thought in a time like this they would have worked more closely to help Kathleen, than against each other. Maybe there are other issues there. I don’t know…this epi was just so emotionally charged, it may take a couple viewings for me to see all the underlying issues. Thanks for the caps!

You’re welcome for the caps! :) I really enjoyed this episode too. It gave a HUGE piece of the Elliot puzzle. I wonder if after this Kathy and Elliot will drift even further apart??
